I have another remix of M83’s “Midnight City” this time it is a cover by The Knocks featuring vocals from Mandy Lee. It’s a well known fact how much I love cover songs, and while this doesn’t fall under the exact category of what I usually go after, there is something about Mandy Lee’s voice thats just so intriguing, I couldn’t stop playing the song. For those accustom to many music blogs and especially ones featuring remixes, mashups and dubstep/elctro you’ve seen an unheard of amount of remixes to M83’s hit single “Midnight Lights.” One thing we don’t like to do here is post any and every “good” song or popular remix, it need to be good and unique. Well PatrickReza accomplished that. Not only is the video a huge part in that but the remix is so well done with tis smooth build ups and fitting womps and spurs. Teaming up with Jimmy Diebold, they were able to light up the sky of seattle showcasing this powerful display at the Seattle Seahawks Stadium.
