Today I have Stage 2 of our Summer recap entitled “The Blur” because, well we all know the middle of the summer is usually a blur as you get into your routines with work and other things. I don’t have much to say about this mix, it’s a solid 20 songs covering a wide range of genres. I have some JAY Z & Kanye West songs off their album Watch The Throne as well as this beautiful song i fell in love with by Lia Ices called “Ice Wine” which was incredibly done in their live studio video by yourtru.ly. Not much else to go into detail about, once again tracklist after the jump and get ready for the final summer mix later this week, until then, enjoy!
We had a feeling this would surface sooner than later. Due to popular demand after Nottz released a snippet of this track Asher with the help of DJ Omen decided to let go of the full version. You can be sure to find this on Asher’s sophomore album that is no longer The Spaghetti Tree and will be renamed shortly.
This song is way to smooth and fresh, R3K puts together a nice blend with the Weezy vocals from “Swag Surf” off his highly successful No Ceilings mixtape. oh and GMAD wants credit so props to them.
J. Cole has said the album is complete so its time to just wait. We got this little sample from Shake who says this didn’t make the cut. With that being said this track is fresh so all I can say is watch out for J. Cole’s debut album.
